All weekend long I struggled to post because of internet troubles at home. Now I've lost my camera adapter and fear I must have left it behind in Mount Airy. I'm still taking pictures, if you're interested, but until I find the adapter, I can't put any pictures online. Sorry.

So apparently there's a security flaw in Adobe Reader that allows people to do nasty things on your computer. You might want to read this and uprgade. By the way, my favorite line from the article: "So far there is no evidence that the bug is being exploited in the wild." Sounds kinda like a nature show, doesn't it?

No Adapter

So since I can't seem to find the adapter which allows me to transfer my pictures from the camera to the computer, I've now missed two consecutive days of photos. Worry not; I've still got images lined up and ready to go. For now, enjoy this picture of a boxer which looks sorta kinda like the one I like to play with in between recording sessions. A picture of the real specimen is to follow.

...is not nearly as nice as this one. Not even close. But we did drop by the Westin to visit the Wake Forest Visitors' Center, where we ran into Mugsy yesterday. This is also the only place in Miami where Wake fans outnumber Louisville fans, so yay for that as well. The Louisville peeps are headquartered at Trump International. Trump indeed.

I thought I'd start my January pics with a local celeb. When we say Mugsy in the lobby of the Wake hotel Mom ran him down insisted we get a picture. He was really nice about it. We were so excited, but two of the hotel employees later asked us "Who is that guy?" I guess the legend of Mugsy Bogues only extends so far.
